Through hymns, liturgy, and musical offerings, God’s Word is proclaimed and His Name is praised. Immanuel offers several opportunities to participate in music ministry:

Adult Choir rehearses Mondays, 7:00-8:00 p.m., September through May, and sings in worship 1-2 times per month. The choir sings a wide range of music, but focuses on hymn-based and classical pieces. For more information, contact Sammi Hintz (dancegirl_1992@yahoo.com).

Handbell Ensemble rehearses Mondays, 6 - 6:45 p.m., August through May. The group plays for services approximately once per month. Small groups also rehearse at other times. For more information, contact Louise Tegtmeier, 701-371-2667.

Upper Register (UR) Chimes Choir is a group for children ages 5-12 to learn musicianship and have fun, all while learning sacred music. The group performs four or five times per year. Rehearsals are on hiatus for a time. Director is Sammi, assisted by Louise. Contact the church office if interested in having your child(ren) participate.

Other Ensembles, including string quartet, brass ensemble, folk band, and a variety of instrumental and vocal groups, rehearse as needed throughout the year. Soloists are encouraged to present pieces during worship, also. For more information, contact [newly appointed] special music coordinator, Tiffany Menze (218-298-2981).
